Other Game Star Citizen Alpha 2.0 Album

Zakis

War Priestess
So about a week and a half ago the Star Citizen universe was officially born. Details here: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/feature-list

Basically its most of a solar system in the universe. One of what will be many, many systems, planets, moons, space stations, etc. I figured I would post screens of my shenanigans. Ill continue to update the album as myself, Remainz, Crake, and company play.

So what can you do now?
This is the first sign of a full game, it's open world persistent universe stuff. You spawn in on a base, you can grab a ship and fight people or NPCs, jump to a ton of areas in the system, engage in ground combat, etc. Multicrew ships are flyable as well so you can hop in with one other.

Oo that sounds fun. Now is there a way to get in without paying massive cash yet? and how is it on resources computer wise?

Anybody of you have a VR headset? Does it work? Do you get more than 1-digit FPS?
VR and other devices like Track IR aren't officially supported yet. There are some workarounds to get them to work but it isn't 100%. VR is at the bottom of the engineering to-do list due to it only benefiting a small portion of the community, but it's definitely coming. Performance is up and down depending on the current patch. It's at a pretty good spot right now. I'm prob getting somewhere between 30-60 on my gtx 760.

Mentioned my performance above. As far as getting in cheap you just missed the $30 package sale. You're best option now would be to get one of the $45 packages.

At the start of the year the base game price is going to be going up. The MMO portion and the single-player adventure portion are being split into two separate games. If you get a package now you still get both for just $45. As far as future costs go, the MMO gets free updates and the single player will be a trilogy that you have to pay for each new installment.
