What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
Mainly Casual/Social, but also PvE. I am horrible at PvP and avoid it like the Sylvari avoid Round-Up.

Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
Star Wars Galaxies - approximately 2 years (quit after the NGE).
GW1 - played constantly for approx a year, then less and less after LOTRO came out; didn't touch it in the past two years but picked it back up this spring in anticipation of GW2. (so, technically playing for maybe 2 years of that time)
LOTRO - since closed beta (so 5+ years); still log in periodically but cancelled my VIP subscription around the time RoR was announced.
SWTOR - about 3-4 months; this has been my primary MMO for the past few months.

Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
I'm going to try to summarize this. SWG: started wonderfully; guild reached out to me even as a complete noob and helped me figure things out. I was the only girl in the guild. Then another girl joined, started chat sexing with all the guild officers, saw me as competition and created Drama. I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried.
GW: My husband, his best friend, and I created a "guild" so we could chat when we were on together. Borrrrrrrrring.
LOTRO: I found the Mithril Crowns in beta. I was specifically looking for a mature, casual, drama-free guild. I squeaked in despite not quite meeting the 30+ age requirement (I was only 27). We had lots of turnover in the first year or so, but the core of us have grown tightly together. I had kids back to back in 2008 and 2009, and continue to be welcomed and loved by my kinship despite contributing very little (and heck, logging in very seldom for a while there) due to my little ones coming before the game. They're like a second family to me. I wish more of them were coming over to GW2.
SWTOR: Half a dozen of our MCers banded together in SWTOR for mutual support, but most of them had already moved on by the time I started playing daily.

How did you hear about the Guild?
Via the Lion's Arch Diving Board video on Youtube.

What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
Well, if you can't tell I'm chatty from reading this... you're not looking hard enough. GW2 really has a bit of a learning curve in terms of skills and swapping out weapons, so I'm a bit less confident of my skills (and ability to help teach others), but I enjoy spending time passing along the info that I do have. Although it's not ALTTABME-specific helping, I expect to be active in the wiki once I have enough knowledge to add something there - I have been contributing to the LOTRO wiki for years and was eventually promoted to Admin over there (http://lotro-wiki.com/index.php?tit...s&offset=&limit=500&target=Adelas). I also like helping to plan special events, coordinating secret santa exchanges, making sure people know about what's going on, and so on.

Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
No. I will also be joining up with friends from my LOTRO kinship; since there are less than a dozen of us, we may be absorbed into the guild already joined by one of us. (That is, she is in another guild in other games, so she'll be with them in this one; our LOTRO kinfolk will either form a mini-guild or join hers.)

Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
First of all - I realize you're not accepting currently but I wanted my toe in the door for later. I actually live in Central time zone, but due to my schedule with the kids I might as well be in Pacific zone- I usually get online at 7-8pm Pacific time.

Due to having two small children (4 and almost-3), I am forced into being a very casual player. On the YouTube video, I loved reading your description of your collective sense of humor and decided to visit this site with the intention of applying, because what I really want in a guild is company - built in socializing, events to participate in, always having someone to join up with when you want to do something - and having people with a similar sense of adventure and humor is key for that.

Finally: my husband will fill in an application of his own once he gets around to it, but basically everything I've said here is true of both of us, except he dropped LOTRO sooner and has played SWTOR longer.

I am going to say -1 for this. We are not a PG guild and I get a feeling that will be a problem here.
