I am a solid PVE player that dabbles in PVP occasionally, mostly for grins and giggles. Some friends and I have participated in "run in and die" Arena Teams in WoW. I take MMO's seriously when it's serious time, but always have fun.
Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
I've played WoW as a main raider in top 100 progression guilds since a few months after release (didn't play much in Cataclysm), EVE Online for about five years off and on, and checked out several others (mostly fantasy oriented). My first experience with MMO's was in The Matrix Online, which was an absolutely incredible community driven game (until SOE got their hands on it. RIP!).
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
Yes, always. I've been a class officer in WoW (Mage/Paladin), done guild recruiting, and been on loot council. I've always enjoyed guild dynamics, and have turned many guildmates into real life friends (magic!). I've been given the nickname "Wise Old Calliente" by several individuals, and I take a lot of pride in that. MMO's are about fun and relationships to me.
How did you hear about the Guild?
My friend Dan (Eldopa) has been updating me pretty regularly about this guild. He said that you guys are cool and fun. I've checked out some of the podcasts and I have to agree.
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
In addition to the standard answers (does research, always prepared, likes to farm, etc.) I am pretty freaking hilarious and a really nice guy. As I mentioned before, gaming is a very social experience for me, and I like to have a good time. I am kind of a force multiplier when it comes to fun. I'm damn good at slaying internet dragons, and i really enjoy facing and defeating difficult group challenges.
Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
Of course.
Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
I'm Canadian, lived in Michigan almost my whole life, and now I am stuck in Louisiana hoping to move back home SOON. My job is pretty stressful, so what I'm really looking for is to recapture the fun that I used to have playing MMO's with a group of cool people who aren't afraid to have a good time. I am pretty active on forums, voice comm, and in guild chat. Oh yeah...also, "vote for me and all your wildest dreams will come true". That's it. I'm done. *drops mic*
