GW since 2005.

Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
Guild leader since 2005 in GW (Ageis Ascending[AA], yes I spelt it wrong from day one and refused to change it.) Had a great deal of fun. Met many great people, some of which moved onto other things but several will be joining me in GW2.

How did you hear about the Guild?
GW2guru podcast.

What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
Fun but very calm person. I am a writer so I can spin stories off the top of my head to keep thing interesting. Love to chat about books or anime but don't bring them up all the time. I can converse on just about any topic and am not shy, for the most part.

Love to help other people. I tend to reflect those around me, so they more fun they have the more fun I can have.

Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
No. I am currently in line to be officer in Warriors of Ascalon and might resurect AA for nostalga sake.

Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
I try to avoid plugging my books too much but if anyone is interested I'll send you a link or email you one to read. I have 2 fantasy and 1 sci-fi complete though not pollished to publication standards just yet.

Also should state that I've been in both the BWE's and the two stress tests so I know just how much fun this game is and really hope to see you all online!

We are about relationships, fun, a big happy family. I don't see that fitting in well....

Sorry you feel that way, I look at multiple guilds much the same as Alliances in GW. Increasing the number of people one has to play with is always better in my book. As for being an officer, I didn't ask for the job but was granted it due to spending the last year+ in an alliance with the guild leader of Warriors of Ascalon in GW. We spent some time talking on Vent and Facebook and he felt that since, at the time, I wasn't interested in running a guild in GW2 that I should join his. He just told me that I would be an officer recently.

The reason I was not planning on restarting AA in GW2 was that due to working full time, while I'll have plenty of time to play the game, I didn't feel I had enough time out side of the game to provide all the attention to running a guild that a leader should.

I hope you change your mind since I believe I can be a very helpful and positive force in any guild or alliance.

You seem like a great guy, but it does seem like your time will be split and your main focus won't be here. It's true that large numbers can be an advantage in the fact you'll have more people to play with at any given time, but that's not our philosophy. We're looking for more of a tight, close, family community. We don't want to pop online and always be playing with different people, even though we are all in the same guild. We want to build off of these relationships and become something that isn't just GW2 fanboyism, but actual friendships.

Sorry, I'm going to -1 on my end. Not because of your qualifications, but because I think you'll be better off in WoA and AA
