What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
I honestly prefer to take things at a slower and less competitive place, so naturally I prefer to play PvE and explore all of the available content. That is not to say that I'm not going to play a lot of WvW and SPvP.
As far as how "hardcore" I play games, it really depends. I am a student so during the summer, breaks, and usually weekends I have a lot of time to play and get on, and even during the weekdays in the afternoon I can find time to play for a few hours. I don't play in the most hardcore, "24hour marathon, Only grind mobs, I buy every Razer product" fashion, but I still progress and play well enough to make a decent contribution
Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
Runescape(you know everyone played it at some point) 2005-2009 (on and off mostly)
MapleStory 2005-2010 (on and off)
Perfect World 2008-2010
Flyff 2006-2008
Lunia 2009-2012
Guild Wars 2007-2010
Guild Wars 2 2012-Infinity and Beyond (3 beta weekend events, 2 stress tests)
And many, many, more. (Most of them I didn't play long enough for it to be significant)
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
In almost all of the games I have been in Guilds, most casual, except in Lunia I was a part of a top-ranked Guild that required me to maintain ranks, play time, stats, etc. I actually didn't enjoy that one the most because it disconnected the players from enjoying the game to taking it as far as they could, which led to a less friendly community. I felt better with the Guilds that worked in Unison and were well organized, but still more for fun and those brought much more life and enjoyment out of the game.
How did you hear about the Guild?
Youtube video "Lions Arch+Diving Board + 50 Char = Awesome!" I saw it off of the Guild Wars 2 feed, and it interested me enough to check out the website and read up on the guild, and it sounded nice.
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
I have played the previous beta weekends as a pre-purchase player, and I feel that I have skill and knowledge to contribute to the Guild in gameplay, combat, and PvP. I like to talk to people while playing and helping others with what I may know is always something that I try to do as much as possible, because what would a game or community be if everyone just attended to themselves? I am in general a social and I would hope to think a funny person, and I am a rather intelligent fellow.
Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
If accepted, yes. :3
Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
Just wondering if there is opportunity for multiple characters, as knowing myself, I would probably like to play different classes/races every once in a while.
