What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
I plan on learning my class to the best of my abilities in order to help further the guild whether it be PvP or PvE. I will admit I am going into the game fairly blind with BWE3 being my only experience of the game itself. I want to experience more of the PvE in the BWE but I will also be active in PvP as WvWvW was so enjoyable.
Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
Ragnarok Online 2D isometric anime style MMO featuring castle siege type PvP as well where mobs doors and defense had to be broken similar to what GW2 is offering. (3 years)
After getting myself a better performing PC then came WoW playing a blood elf paladin healer stopping at Burning Crusade expansion. (1 year)
City of Heroes, DC universe Online, LOTRO, various F2P titles are just some of the MMOs i dabbled with but never really got into.
FFXIV for about 4 months.
The most recent has been SW:TOR since launch so about 10 months and currently experiencing The Secret World using a friend's account so about 1 month.
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
Yes. Ragnarok online, WoW, SW:TOR I applied for a guild as I find it enhances the experience you have with the game. Never led a guild but I have been appointed Officer in ragnarok, WoW, and SW:TOR. I do try to join guilds that have a relaxed atmosphere that strive to be competitive but do not get overly stressed when thing do not go their way. Scouting guilds before applying has been my MO which has led to an overall positive experience for me when I do join a guild.
Most recent example is in SW:TOR where i joined a guild called Keyboard Heroes which also ran a podcast about the game. Relaxed family type atmosphere where balls were regularly busted all in good light hearted fun and clearing end game content as a group. I have to say the past 10 months have been extremely enjoyable even though I have been frustrated with the game. All because I was lucky to find a group of gamers I can enjoy an MMO with. I still keep in contact with these people by hanging out on our mumble server. I hope to find the same thing if I am able to join Arcanix.
How did you hear about the Guild?
Google. It was my plan to find a guild with a running podcast. A lead and officers that enjoy the game so much that they dedicate an hour discussing topics about the game was led me to this application. Watching the podcast it seems intricacies are discussed yet still have fun discussing whatever topic is on hand.
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
I don't usually start conversations but i have something productive to say about a topic I will say it other than that i keep to my gaming. I am quite delighted to see the use of mumble as I hope to hang out most of the time and hang out with people to unwind as well play some fierce PvP matches and start yelling at each other for help. I did make the podcast banner for my swtor guildies. If you guys are not happy with your current one would this make me a shoo in for the guild?
Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
Yes I hope to proudly represent the colors.... Fuscia? Hot Pink?

I did read that you are halting recruitment until launch which is understandable and I hope that you give my application a look before launch on the 25th!
