What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
I would actually love to fulfill all of these roles. But if I had to choose, I would have to choose PvE. Love to explore the world, fighting bosses of biblical proportions and maybe finding something no one's seen before. Of course, like I said, I can fulfill any of these roles and would be happy to do so.
Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
I've played loads of MMO's and other online games, but these are the one I played for a year or more.
WoW - ~1 year (Played right before Cataclysm came out)
Runescape - ~2 years (last played 5 years ago)
Counter Strike: Source - ~7 years (still play)
TF2 - ~3 years (still play)
Maplestory - ~2 years (2 years too many)
Tribes: Ascend - I've played this since it came out of Beta
Guild Wars 1: I've played since it came out.
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
I was part of a guild in Guild Wars 1. I was in a pretty large one, [KISS]. Perhaps you've heard of it. It was a huge alliance of all these guild with the same tag, but the names would be Kiss of _______. But with a guild that big, it felt like I was never that valued as a guild member. It seemed nobody cared what you had to say unless you had been in the guild ever since it started or if you were an officer or something. Like I was just there to fill another spot in the roster.
How did you hear about the Guild?
I heard about it from ArenaNet's facebook page and how you guys did the 50 character diving board vista thing. Pretty awesome by the way.
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
I can be chatty when I've gotten a good feel of the guild and its members. I'll almost always say something when someone needs help with something. I don't like to brag, but I am pretty skilled at most games, and I learn quickly. Being funny is something I'm quite good at, honestly. It's probably the best feature about me. Not certain how my my jokes and certain inflections on words would translate well on to text, though.
Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
Yes. I don't think it would be good to try and manage 2-3 guilds at once time. Guild events may conflict, or a guild switching servers, forcing you to choose between your guilds. Also, I'd rather be completely dedicated to just one guild than partially dedicated to three.
Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
No, I don't believe there is.
