Do you have any friends in the guild? If so, who?
Not yet, I have a friend that will probably be applying later on.
Main Character
Charrmilla
Character Name
Charrmilla
Race
Charr
Profession(Class)
Guardian or Elementalist
What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
All of them, i'm an all-round player, I am a dungeon junkie though, something about killing elites and bosses with a small group is awesome. And as in every MMO I try to pvp as much as possible, especially Spvp or WvW if i'm with multiple people.
Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
Runescape (If that counts) 3-4 years
WoW around 4 years, some hiatuses because of lack of content or motivation.
Played Rift the whole beta and loved it, but I didn't want another subscription MMO .
LOTRO: For a couple of weeks
DCUO: 3 months on and off
Outside that I have played pretty much every F2p online MMO trying to find something that didn't feel like a lonely grind to the top.
I also played aion for ages till around mid 40's when it went f2p, but as most games that go f2p, the playerbase loses interest very fast and it becomes a ghost-town again.
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
I have been part of many many guilds in the past few years, mostly just laidback guilds and leveling guilds. I have joined some community guilds aswell, but as I found it later, most of these had a policy that even if you have been a full committing member, the core group gets all prio's.
Also joined raiding and "hardcore" guilds but not doing that anymore, since feedback is a bad thing there ^^.
How did you hear about the Guild?
I had a friend who told me about your podcasts and well-organized guild. I saw the video where you re-enacted lion king and was amazed, it takes quite a bit of discipline and crazy people to work this out, with so many players willing to be part of it.
Also watched the whole podcast about joining the guild, and it sparked my interest.
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
I like to have a nice chat in guildchats etc, and I like to help people out (why shouldn't anyone; you help out and still get expierence or karma, you have no excuse) I like to think i'm pretty skilled, i'm the type of person that usually knows all spells of other professions to make sure you know how they synergize. I am also used to leading raids and groups so I'll usually be forming up groups for dungeons,, pvp or quests.
Also i'm an altoholic because I love to be able to fill multiple roles.
Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
Sort of, I will sometimes be online on an alt in a different guild with 2 other irl mates, that character will usually be to just casually play together at times.
Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
Hmm, I don't rage that fast, and I avoid most discussions because of past expierences, I have waited for this game for 4 years now, and this mmo is my last hope in this genre of games. I tried every MMO in so long, but I'm still looking for that wow feeling, and I think I found it in Guild Wars 2.
