What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
I prefer doing mostly PvE content however I am also looking very forward to PvP content as well so I guess the role I would play would be a bit of an everything role.
Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
The main MMO I've played for the longest time (sure you never hear this one
) would be World of Warcraft and I actively played that game for about 4 years. Other then that I have also dabbled in Rift, Sw:tor, Warhammer Online, EVE, Runescape, and played a lot of Planetside as well.
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
Yes I have been part of three guilds two in WoW and one in Sw:tor, The two in WoW consisted of one fairly small casual guild where I became friends with most everyone in there and still keep tabs with many of the members of it still and the other one was a more hardcore raiding guild that participated in a TON of guild dungeon runs and raid events every week. And the one in SW:ToR died after about a month or so due to members not being interested enough in the game, but while it lasted it was a really friendly and close social/casual guild.
How did you hear about the Guild?
Through Guildwars2Guilds.org I was looking for an actual guild to join at launch and looked happened to find yours and found it to be very interesting and fit mostly with what I was looking for in a guild (also was one of the few guilds that didn't have a horribly designed website, which was a nice bonus in your favor.)
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
I would probably be well suited at being a useful resource for information to the less informed in the guild as I have been mostly been making it my business to know every aspect and tidbit about Guild Wars 2 and it's lore since I found out about it ( last year in Febuary) and of course I have a decent knowledge of mmo's and how they work so I guess to a degree you could say i offer a little skill (I wouldn't go as far as to call it that though). Later on I could also be a little chatty and funny once I am warmed up to the guild, but unfortunately for the first week or so don't be surprised if I appear a bit shy.
Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
As a guild in general? No. I do have plans on running my own "guild" consisting only of my friends who I know outside of the game. But as an actual guild yes, most likely this will be the only guild I will be joining.
Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
