Help! Laptop Lap Desks.

Alright, I wanted to ask the community here if anyone has any good suggestions of a "laptop lap desk". I'm looking for a cushioned base with a wooden platform for my laptop. As many of you know, I sit in a recliner when I game, and lately I've realized I've been getting pretty hot with my laptop directly on my lap. I have an Asus G75, so the high powered fans sit on the back, generally burning my knee's in extended play. I'm looking for something that will alleviate the heat as well as the direct pressure on my legs.

The laptop is a 17.3" and weighs around 10 pounds.

I've been looking at items such as http://www.amazon.com/Brookstone-E-...ffice-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1368392092&sr=1-26

Not sure if there's a better model that others have used or ones that may be cheaper and just as effective. Any suggestions?

I put an academic text book beneath my laptop to alleviate that heat problem :p

I guess it doesn't help the pressure though.
Yeah, I have a "chill pad" but it has legs on the end, making it very uncomfortable for lap play, but perfect for desks. I'm really looking for something with a cushion feel. I'm seeing a lot of "micro-whatever" beanbag stuff, but I'm not sure how comfortable that would really be long term.

the micro whatever ones will fit to your legs better, but they will trap body heat and your legs will get hella hot. One like you linked with a breathable cloth and synthetic fibers in the cushion would probably be best. More air flow and the cushion will be fine for comfort.[DOUBLEPOST=1368408069,1368407950][/DOUBLEPOST]the other thing you could do if you are sitting in a chair with arms like your recliner is just get a piece of wood type lap desk that sits across both arms and not on your legs. Air flow, extra room for the mouse and a sturdy surface.[DOUBLEPOST=1368408110][/DOUBLEPOST]

Sadly my chair is much deeper than that and much more... Pillowy. Using a piece of wood or a desk like that I'm afraid of ruining the chair. Plus, the way I have it is I use a mouse pad on the right arm rest and it fits perfectly with my arm. The only thing I need to do is find more comfort on my legs. I feel like I'll need to take a picture... Because damn my chair is so plush.
