I like GOOOOOLLLLD!
Not real bad, mind you. I just spent money I probably shouldn't have.

So I went to the lego site and bought this for 200 bucks.

here is a decent 3 min overview video of the set

I bought it because I love the original star wars Lego sets. Boba Fett is one of my favorites and the ultimate collectors sets are amazing. I wish I could have gotten in on the millenium falcon, but I didn't. It originally sold for 400 bucks, but now you can't find one unopened for less than 4 thousand. even the opened ones sell for like 1,400 bucks.

I actually ended up buying 2 so I could keep one new in box to sell in a year or two. Hopefully the demand for them will be high enough that I can get my money back. I will definately be building one for myself to go on my wall of awesome.

Anyway, I spent the money, would you?

Well the lego site still has the Slave 1 UCS and the Red 5 X-wing UCS. They are limited time only and usually go way up in price when they go out of stock. Hell even amazon and ebay have them now for a higher price than on the lego site lol.

That's awesome. I would throw down $200 on Legos.

My father-in-law has 3 crates full of Legos <_< so i am good for a while.

Maybe on the Millennium Falcon. I personally don't care for Boba Fett, but at least the size is worthy of the price tag.

I would have no hesitation throwing that kind of money down on a lego set though if it was something I really enjoyed.

I’d throw down $350 on a Lego Mindstorm, so yes I'd spend $200 on Lego.

Jiggyyo Mindstorms are amazing. I actually took a robotics class in college that revolved around building and programing lego mindstorms. Hands down one of my favorite classes from college.

Completely worth it. I would give up a lot to get my huge collection of Legos back from my childhood.

I've actually thought about getting back into Legos as a hobby. I miss my old sets from growing up and would have some fun experiencing them again as an adult

The sets are great yes, but im all about the imagination and sitting down to build random shit. If someone dropped all my old tubs of Legos on my doorstep, you might have to send a search party cause I would get lost in that again.

I remember when I was younger my cousin and I were obsessed with Star Wars. This was before Star Wars Legos were a thing. We decided the Aquanauts? doubled as space troopers and used to spend hours building dropships, hover tanks and all kinda shit. It would end up with some elaborate storyline involving war breaking out and crazy ass battles. Good times.
