If I had a million dollars...

TIG

I like GOOOOOLLLLD!
If you had enough money to splurge on a thing and not care about the price what would you buy?

This is a thread to post all the things you want, but just can't justify buying for yourself. It's not about money, but what you would do with it if you had lots and lots of it.

My first thing is this ball joint dragon. It's made by some russian guy and its like 200 bucks.

Buying all consoles + games and play the old games with the original experience (not on an emulator).
Also build a Lan-house. 100+ High-end PCs where you can play various titles over network. Maybe even a private server of some MMOs. A free food service is included.

I'd travel.. non-stop. If limited to purchasing something, I'm with Euchale.. unlimited LAN set-up for as many people as I could fit :)

Pay off all my loans/bills. Definitely upgrade my home. I'd probably move into something bigger that I could grow into, but not too big that it would be excessive. There would definitely be a game + theater room where I can do my gaming and watch sports. I wouldn't mind a mini sports bar feel with multi screens going with different games.

I would certainly overhaul my PC situation. I'd get something that would last me a long time.

I'd plan a few trips to see places I've always wanted to visit. Places like Italy, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan. I'd space them out over a few years so I have things to look forward to.

After that I'd invest. I'd want that money to last me. I feel like a million bucks isn't enough to quit your job anymore. I feel like I'd still have to work, but at least things would be comfortable for me.

If I could live like Gatsby, I would probably have his mansion and get bunch of friends to live with me or at least have a lot of get togethers and travel alot.

I'd buy a house outright, fund college for my kids, buy my wife a new iPad mini, make sure me, my wife and my mom are set for retirement, and blow any remainder on an AWESOME man cave at the new house.

I'd put myself through college, post that I'd move to New Zealand and build a small house on the southern coast near Invercargill and live in quiet solitude for the rest of my days. I'd invest the rest or start up a charity.

What would you go to school for if that were the case?
