[Jun 22, 2013] Weekly F2P Gaming Saturday! - Rift (Rift / Mumble)

Alright, many of us have started to play Rift now that it has gone F2P. I would have set it up for the 15th, but I wanted the F2P conversion kinks to settle down before making it an official event.

So here's the deal. I want everyone to download Rift. Some of us have characters, some of us don't It'll be UP TO YOU to figure out if we all want to play what we have already, or massive re-roll new characters. I'm fine with either. AS LONG AS WE'RE ALL ON MUMBLE, it'll be fun no matter what we do

Note: We are Faction- Defiance on Seastone Server.

Oh! And I want people to realize. You don't need to be led by an officer. As a community event, people should be coming on and playing when you can. If you don't see anyone in mumble, be the first to jump in! Too many times this past weekend did I hear "Oh, no one was on, so I didn't bother". The way to fix that is be the trend setter! Start playing and others will follow.

I'm level 15 and haven't done any dungeons yet. I'll probly be on closer to the end of the playtime, so hopefully I can run some with you then. The "Adventures" seem like they would be a blast for groups as well.

It's all day, starting at noon EST till about 7PM EST. Of course people can play earlier and later. These days are here so people all have the same game in common for a day. Play and enjoy eachothers company. Talk to people you're not used to. Play with people. COMMUNITY and all that jazz.

Ahhh gotcha. Love talking to new people. With The Last of Us out of the way i should be making my way back to the computer tonight I'll be on maybe around 8 or 9 Eastern time for anyone to join me in Rift

I've got a level 15 Eth Riftblade and a brand new Bahmi Cleric who looks like a punk storm giant. I'll probably roll a Kelari Pyromancer if we're makin' new dudes.

No dungeons, no instant adventures yet.

May try to get my Rift account back. Apparently I left a mobile authenticator on it, and I no longer have that phone lol. Tried to do the help chat and the que was 4 hours long, so I gave up. Velorra and I currently raid in WoW on Saturday 1-5 pm est but maybe before or after we can get on.

Yea the help chat takes forever to get through, but they really are helpful once you get someone. Try early in the morning for a shorter queue.

You are correct. 2am to 9am, on the sunday morning. That shouldn't be too bad for me. I don't usually get to bed until 3am most nights.

Ok so this event will be going ALL DAY. I will be stepping out from 1230 until 4 due to needing to be int eh city to pickup google glass. But after Ill be back on.

If you have characters or want to make new ones, everyone make sure to play with one another in a group!

The point of these events are for people to get to know one another. So regardless of if it is your thing or not, just get on mumble and participate if you can!

The best thing is to HAVE FUN. End
