Nice, setting our tree up tonight. Ours is fake unfortunately, but there are these evergreen scented ornaments we have that give it a nice 'real' aura.

I'm allergic, so I have to go fake. I went prelit also to keep things easy.

You'll have to keep us up to date with how the real one works out. My impression is that they are messy and too much maintenance.

If you didn't do this already, the real trees like sugar, if you pour some sprite into the bottom with some water your tree will stay green longer.

Gremlin + Evergreen. These are things you should know before investing in a live tree, it's a big responsibility.

Wait there are fake trees? I guess I have to qualify this as "ThingsYouDon´tKnowWhenYourGrandparentsHaveTheirOwnForest" I will posts picks of our trees as soon as they are up, we usually put them up like 1 or 2 weeks before christmas.
