WoW (35k+ hours), GW (550+ hours), Starcraft 1 & 2 (500+ hours still in wood league), Eve Online (100+ hours before I realized that it was not for me), C&C Red Alert 2 (when Westwood studio was still around), Age of Empires II, SWAT3 (when Sierra online was still around), and a few other games.
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
I was in a casual raiding guild in wow. We raided only 2 days per week. I really enjoyed it. However, after we cleared our first current tier raid, my GM decided to go hardcore and guild drama ensued. I was removed from the core group due to my item level. Few months into "Cataclysm", I decided that I can't deal with the drama anymore and I left. I have been playing Guild Wars since then for my HoM points. I am currently in [KiSS] alliance in Guild Wars. My main is an assassin. Unfortunately, [KISS] alliance is based on Europe, and timing is going to be an issue for me when GW2 launches.
How did you hear about the Guild?
I saw your podcast on youtube.
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
I like to enjoy the game as opposed to rushing through the content. I am a completionist/achievement hunter. I won't mind running, and helping others run lower level dungeons, and events multiple times. I am used to working in a squad based environment in real life. so I am looking forword to doing some ops in WvW. I am usually not the most verbal person on vent/mumble because English is not my primary language.
Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
If I get accepted, Arcanix will be the only guild I will join at release. However, I will have a bank alt just for that extra storage space.
Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
I am still trying to reprogram my brain to be able to function in a non-trinity environment. It will take some time. I really enjoyed PvP in Guild Wars. My favorite BG was "Jade Quarry," which is overrun by faction farming bots now. I am not very excited about SPvP in Guild Wars 2 because every single pvp map is domination style battlegrounds.
