I feel I can contribute in many roles whether it be pve, pvp or just casual questing. I cant wait to do it all. I feel i can contribute to the guild by pitching in where ever is needed at the time. I have a fair amount of experience and like leading raids (although I know there will not be much of it in endgame yet) and group dungeons. I've spent a lot of time in officer positions in various games but do not really care this go around. As you mention it comes down to having fun and promoting fun, Sometimes that means just listening or sometimes it means that we have to help player x get a certain quest/mob down. Whatever it means I'm ready to go most of the time.
Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
Diablo : 1 years
Diablo 2: 1 years
Everquest: 3 years
Everquest 2: 1 year
WoW: 4.5 years
Aion: 1 years
FFXlV: 6 months...
Rift: 1 year
SWTOR: release to current. don't remember (about a year now?)
add in lots of short stints with games like elder scrolls, skyrim etc, DDO,
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
Yes, I've been part of many guilds through the years. I've generally had very good experiences from running my own guilds to casual f around guilds. Aion we had a guild called "blow me elyos" (opposite faction for those that dont know Aion). What has made my experiences positive is having support and supporting, friends, acquaintances and people you've never met before while working towards similar goals.
How did you hear about the Guild?
Feeding my need for GW2 by watching the podcasts and decided it would be worth a shot to get involved.
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
I hope to bring a group member, a pvp theorycrafter, a leatherworker/armorsmith a drinking buddy and whatever else may be good that day.
Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
I'm not sure how the guild systems work fully so I would have to see. most likely not unless it was required.
Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
Arcanix is filling up as we approach launch and I understand the need to be particular. After listening to everyone in the podcasts and the posts below and on your forums, I feel a like attitude and was compelled to app.
After playing BW2 and BW3 I am looking forward to playing this game because it was just pure fun beyond anything else I've played before. I'm so tired of gear grind scenarios (pvp/pve). I can't wait to experience everything in this game. I want to level up , quest, pvp, craft, find all the vistas and so on. Looking for some cool people to do this with.
