What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
Any and all of the above. I'm always willing to help people along in PvE, help make items for people with professions, and PvP with whoever is willing. I'd probably end up being the socializing helper of the guild too. Knowing me I'd dive right into the game, do my best to learn the in's and out's of it, then teach other people if they need help.
Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
I've played WoW for the past 2 years or so. I stopped about 6 months ago because I got bored with the endless progression. Was pretty much an altoholic and was a perfectionist when it came to builds and fine tuning gear setup. I'm a fan of the theorycrafting and researching different ways to play.
Diablo 3 - 2 months... sadly, it wasn't what I expected.
Played some of the Guild Wars 1 demo and I loved it, which led me into researching GW2, so I'm expecting to love GW2. I'm waiting for the beta on July 20th.
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
I've been in two guilds in the past in WoW. The first one was amazing. Friendly, mature group. Still talk to a couple of them still today. The second guild I joined after the first guild transferred servers. I didn't like it nearly as much. The people seemed a little too uptight for me, too much business and not enough joking around. I like getting stuff done but I want to have fun while doing it. Eventually I transferred servers to join up with the old guild.
How did you hear about the Guild?
I believe it was guildwars2guru.com. I think I saw a link for AltTabMe in the forums somewhere.
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
I'd like to think that I'm skilled in video games and I'm definitely willing to help people. The best part of playing any mmo's, I've found, is chilling in vent with guildies, chatting, questing together or not. I work really well with computers too, and can fix technical problems that people might have with their software or hardware. If I don't know the solution you can be sure that I'd google it until I found it.
Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
Not sure. I honestly can't think of other reasons to join other guilds. I suppose if other friends start playing I'd invite them to the guild. I just got done watching your first video on GW2 and I thought you guys were funny, semi-casual... pretty much just what I'm looking for.
Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
I enjoy nature walks. That's pretty neat! (Reference to a youtube video... in case I just made myself look like an ass haha)
