So as we wait for games and shit to arrive that we all play together and the like, tell us some more about yourself, what are you doing IRL, what keeps ya busy, how are you enjoying it here, what you ate for breakfast!

I'll start.

I recently have been applying for a more stable/longterm job. I had a potential gig, but it fell through. As freelance my life comes in waves. It is scary at times cause you never know when the next job is. I have tried to play some games lately but can't seem to make it past 10 minutes. Although for some reason clash of clans on the iPad I have probably clocked about 50 hours into already. Love that game for some odd reason.

I think about the site a lot, and what you all are thinking about it. I wonder how Wildstar will effect us, especially if it fails. I want to have guild meetings where we all just hang out in mumble in this interim. I think that would be a cool way to just chill with each other, talk about what the mods and officers are working on, and get to know each other.

We can even work in a game of cards against humanity online while we do it.

Other than that, I just had my relationship end, I redid my linkedIn profile, cut off all my hair, started working out hard again, and am once again struggling with quitting smoking. Ups and downs sharing it all :) Isn't always sunshine and roses.

Most of the veterans here know me as the bearded fellow that tends to drink all the time... And that's pretty true. I currently live with my girlfriend Caroline (or Gabrinarra on the forums) in the wonderful area of NH. I'm a big anime/manga buff, Boston sports fan, as well as a dedicated gamer for many many years, but I learned early on in life I could never make a living in the gaming area.... So I decided to do what I do best.

Crunch Numbers.

I'm currently a Procurement Analyst with Liberty Mutual Insurance after recently being laid off by a lobster company. God I hated that place, with a fucking passion. Smelling like fish everyday... Months later my car still smells like fish.... Anyways. You'll see me around the site more often than not. I'm within the band of officers that try our best to keep this place running as smoothly as possible. If you ever have an issue, let me know. We do our best to take care of things to the best of our ability.

Oh, and games I play? I try anything that's free, but will grab cheap things when on sale. If it's an MMO, RPG, FPS, Action/Adventure game, I'll give it a shot. And hellz no to MOBA's and RTS's. Just can't do it.

Not much has changed for me. The draw that brought me here (gw2) has gone, but I found a million more reasons to stay. I am looking forward to Wildstar, but may not have the time to devote to it that I want. Mostly my recreational time is filled with tv, movies and a few single player games like Don't Starve (104 days right now)

My personal life is still the same, I live with my girlfriend Therese and we are happy. We are taking a trip to Hawaii in a few weeks.

My professional life is still the same, however, there are big changes in the works. Hopefully the big changes won't effect my little slice of the company. I work for US Airways as a jet mechanic. US Airways and American Airlines are merging to become the new American Airlines which will be the biggest airline in the world. In preparation for this I am starting school in the fall to gain some licenses that will give me more job security. That schooling will last 18 months. So, assuming I don't get laid off, I have 2 years of full time school and full time work ahead of me.

My turn

Whats goin on IRL is a lot better than what I posted in my rant. Which is allways good. anyways - Me and my girlfriend Aly just got our own place. We had been living with her mother for about a year. We "hermit'd" ourself's in so we didn't spend any money to pay off my truck!!!! woot! She was going to Fresno State for ASL (American Sign Language) and only has one more semester. - - the thing is were are we gonna get the money for the last gig - -

My job is working on those BIG YELLOW TRACTORS!!! =] I enjoy it - but lets put this out there, and im not try'n to brag but....... I just built my first big engine. It went into a D10 [D = Dozer, 10 = second biggest] the engine size was the as tall as I am 6 foot. =] prudy good size right?? But yea..... ran good, no leaks, and "here's the kicker", I made time. Which is like, boss told customer its gonna take 80 hours + parts. I did the job in 40 hours + parts. We still charged the dude the 80 hours cuz that was the agreement. The rest goes into a "slush" fund were our annual bonus comes outa $_$ I was walk'n tall around the shop for past couple days =]. [if you guys want to see pics, lemme know]

And now Extra's..... well I really don't know. I found ATM [AltTabMe] searching WSC and am glad I did. I mean there are people actually on and talkin/post'n......... sry just still stoked about finding you guys!. Moving on - free time gets take'n up by ---->
1 - playing games ie. Borderlands 2, DC Universe Online, pokemon white 2 (yes I know, but I love them) and Black Ops 2 with aly, and random free to play stuff aswell.
2 - having fun and decorating the apartment [need help/ideas for gaming room]
3 - what I like to call "actual" activities. Riding rode bikes, long boarding, and.... you might wanna sit down for this one.... and it might be one of my most favorite things to try, cuz im not good yet but........... - - - - - Running ON TOP of WATER - - - - - ....... I swear!!! "pinkie" [so you know im serious! =p

And im just gonna end with that......... BOOM!!! hehe

I'm still working away on insects. Things are ramping up - I've got 13 months of funding left. I need to sort out my data and figure out how many more experiments I need to do, get my shit together, and start writing my thesis. That'll be a tough time. Got a field trip coming up in the next couple of months, not sure when.

It's weird - Over the last year I've found myself wanting more and more responsibility in my life. From TAB officer positions, to actively running my Aikido group, to getting involved in the admin side of the Armidale LARP group. I'm fine with it, but it makes me feel old that it's happening at once.

I find it really hard to play single player games any more. I crave being online and talking to people whenever I'm gaming - but most of the time this is on Steam, as there's rarely people on mumble while steam is 'passive' - you can see people there and talk to them via text rather than speech.

So yeah, lots of changes going on in my life and lots of stuff ongoing too. I kinda miss England though, I'm a bit sick of Australia.

This is me. A little bit disorganised, handling my shit, looking forward to whatever comes next.

Even though I've been with the guild awhile, I still feel like the new guy. Actually, I've been the ghost guy lately since my work blocked the site and my computer died. Just bought a new computer though, so you'll see more of me once I get the rest of my equipment in and get set up.

Anyway, about me. I'm 32, married, and have 4 kids. I work in the marketing deprtment of a large insurance company in Kansas City. Let me know if you come through town and we'll pick up some world class bbq together.

'm a hardcore Christian, and I don't apologize or compromise what I believe in. I'll also give you the shirt off my back if you need it. I like to debate tough questions and issues, so you'll see me around the Rant section when the mood strikes me.

I play GW2, Simcity, and Diablo 3, though lately all Ive been able to play is iPad. I'm looking forward to WildStar. I enjoyed my time in WoW and am looking forward to proper dungeons and raids again.

Hi my name is Rob and I have a problem....I like gaaaaaaaaaaaaames (in a gold member voice).

Okay so lets see. I went to College for Accounting and graduated my 3 years in 2009. I eventually got a job at Canada's Largest Fitness Company then left because I found out most people are worth more than what we get paid there. It was a risk move though since the new company made small aircraft (2-6 seater prop planes) and had a small jet in development which led to massive debt and a lay-off of approximately 75% of the employees for restructuring etc, which I was a part of. This has all led me to here, I have my 4th last CGA course (hopefully) starting soon and I will be starting my BComm degree in September for 12 months straight.

Outside of Job/School I workout a lot, I used to read articles on "break" all the time so I have plenty of knowledge on the subject and have tried different workout theories. I enjoy working out a lot but sometimes do get burnt out. If anyone wants any advice/help I will definitely help in whatever way I can. Remember that a change in your eating habits will produce the most change usually (whether cutting or gaining).

I have been trying to find games to fill my time with since I left WoW and no games really kept me much except SC2 which I have even been falling short on a lot lately. I was reading on about the Emerald Dream server where they are slowly updating content but keeping it in the Vanilla scene. I believe I read that they are farming MC/BWL and AQ may come out soon - not sure. Probably another thread topic though.

So yeah if you want to know anything about me just ask!

I'm Jia, the German with an American accent, and I'm a family support and youth care worker from Germany.
While that's social work, I'm actually a sociologist, but I picked one of the worst paid jobs available. Work is more or less freelance, so I can relate to Tristan's financial ups and downs, because I also go through times where I just barely manage to scrape by. If I stick to humanitarian work I'll never be able to pay off my student loan debts.

I believe that there is good in all people, even if they can't find access to it. I like talking about how people approach life.
Sometimes I also like not talking at all, especially when I have nothing to say.
In real life I have a very stable social network that, oddly enough, doesn't waver even when I remove myself from it to indulge in gaming binges over longer periods of time.
I'm generous to a fault, often find myself in the devil's advocate position (most of the time not by choice), and I'm terribly fickle when it comes to gaming. I'm afraid that Valikar will tell me to "eff off!" one of these days because I keep suggesting games that we could play together, which we hardly ever end up playing together...

Currently I'm playing BL2 (again) and APB, but that's always subject to change. My gaming comes in waves, sometimes I'll play a game hardcore for a few weeks straight, and then there are phases where I don't game at all, often up to months, maybe even a year.

I'm looking forward to the DayZ standalone, and I'd also like to wade deeper into Arma 3 territory.
I'm on the fence when it comes to Wildstar because I don't like the idea of committing to a monthly subscription fee.

Hi Guys. Im Miranda and I have a pro - wait. Wrong place.

Uh. I recently moved from Modesto and Texas and I'm loving it. Its actually making me so much happier. Its awesome. I recently got a new job at office depot and a new car too! ( a Chevrolet sonic LT, maybe I'll post some pictures.) Of course I've been offline with gaming tho I'm getting back into it. (Sadly Im looking forward to ff14 over wildstar. ) Im trying to get settled down and just do my college business.

And I kinda miss working at my farm in a way, even tho I still hated working there. I feel so inactive right now not getting up and out by 8 in the morning!

I'm Chuck Norris... Nuff said.

Just John here, I snooped around AltTabMe for a while before actually applying at what... 400 posts? lawl to start off i am one of the most random people you will ever "meet" or not meet. I have my own sense of humor so if i say something and i start laughing join in or look at me with a confused look on your face. I am a kind person and very compassionate. Kel took the words out of my mouth

I am a Christian and i have my beliefs and i stand by them.

I haven't been playing much lately due to work and homework for work. But when i do get on its either GW2, DCUO (yeah!!!!!!) SWTOR, Or Tera... rarely.. Can't forget TF2. Other than that i play on my phone Clash of Clans, come join Tristan and I, loads of fun. Or Rage of Bahamut.

Same old shit for me. Work Work Work Work, oh hey heres more Work. Possibly buying a condo on the side. Started working out when I can again.

I love this place as usual, and gaming with everyone but I am looking forward to one or two games that pull us together more. I agree with the mumble meetings and drunken cards against humanity.

Well, I'm Ryan. I joined AltTabMe in January for GW2, dropped off the Earth because college, then finally found time to rededicate a portion of my life to games! I am double majoring in astrophysics and biochemistry at the University of Colorado at Boulder..yeah lots of science..fun place, too. :)

I am active in my a cappella group Extreme Measures on campus and another group called the Distinguished Speakers Board, where we basically bring famous people to our campus to talk, and we have dinners and receptions with them. It's pretty sweet. About a month ago I got elected to be the Public Relations Director for this group so I will be in charge of advertising for the events as well as media relations, making the posters, and typing/sending out the press release. It should be fun and it'll be my first paying job since I was in 10th grade.

I've been playing a few games on and off lately, including Pokemon Black, fire Emblem, and Legend of Zelda OoT on my 3DS..I actually bought a N64 recently because I decided I want to play the legend of Zelda games in order! I'm also playing Civ V, SWtOR, and TF2. I had never heard of Wildstar until a couple days ago when I started checking the forums a lot more frequently..at first I thought it looked awful and laughed it off and was disappointed in the choice of this become the "focus" game..but upon doing more research, it actually looks like a really awesome and well developed game. Fingers crossed its worth it, cuz it looks like a great time! :)

Ill leave it at there. I hope I can hop on a game/chat with you guys soon, get to know all of you finally!!!

Well... I'm still pretty new around here. But I suppose it can't hurt to add a bit more background to who I am. :p

I'm a system administrator for my local newspaper and freelance web designer. I've been trying to get out of the sysadmin stuff and more into the web design stuff recently (although if I was writing this post about 4 years ago, it would have been the exact opposite). The main reason I'm trying to get out of my current job is because I've recently realized the only way for me to really be happy is if I'm my own boss -- It doesn't matter what the job is, if I have a boss I hate it. Especially when it's the kind of boss that just sits on their ass and puts the money you earn in their pocket.

As luck or fate would have it, about 3 weeks ago an old boss of mine contacted me to ask if I was interested in going in 50/50 partner with him on purchasing a web design business. I jumped on that deal and we've been working out the details since. Unfortunately, two days ago on Friday, that deal fell though because the person decided they didn't want to sell their business. But my old boss and I are still trying to move forward on starting up a proper web design business. It would have been nice to have all those customers to start up, but not much has been lost, really. We're moving forward with a plan to have the business up and running by August 1st, including our advertising campaign with a local cable provider, billboards and a dedicated outside sales rep.

Other than real life stuff, I've mainly been trying to find a game to enjoy until Wildstar comes out. I've had a bit of game ADD lately, but the main games I'm playing right now are GW2, TERA, Battlefield 3, MOH: Warfighter and Panzar (if you haven't tried Panzar it's a fun, fantasy, arena PvP game, you should try it!). I'm really looking forward to Wildstar. To be honest Wildstar is my last MMO -- If it turns out bad like the majority of MMO's in the last few years, I'm just done with the entire genre. :p So I'm hoping it's great and can keep me entertained for years to come!

So I'm pretty much brand new hear (like signed up less than an hour ago new), but I really enjoyed your guys Podcast and have been looking for a good community of gamers to hang out and shoot the shit with.

So um me in a nutshell, Video Game enthusiast, nerdy, (i like to think) semi-decent guy. Currently unemployed, working with a bare minimum computer, but I make it work (most of the time). I've played my fair share of MMOs, I'm really one to enjoy crafting for some reason, just find that aspect really enjoyable. Yeah that's about all i got for my little intro.

Currently, I don't really know what I'm playing. Bouncing between Dota 2 and LoL a little bit now. Have been playing Star Wars: The Old Republic for the longest time, but I've gotten a bit tired of the typical MMO feel. Played a bit of Guild Wars 2, but it never really grabbed me like i hoped it would. I still have it downloaded (i believe) and may give it another shot to tide me over till WildStar.
