What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
I enjoy casual styles for most mmo's. PvE is my big draw, I used to PvP more but fell out of it when WoW split PvP and PvE gear. I didn't want another ridiculously long grind on top of my PvE one. I just wanted to play a game, not pick up a full time job.

Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
I have played a few MMO's over the course of the years.

Ragnarok Online was the first, I spent most of high school playing this one. Though it offered little in quests it was a taste of social gaming.

World of Warcraft followed, I played in the beta and continued to play until SWTOR hit retail while dabbling in other mmo's during breaks.

Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
In Ragnarok Online me and a friend founded a PVP Guild we called UPS. A small knit group of 7 or so, as the only guild content the game supported was PvP at the time... And it was needed for the endgame PvE content, we dove into the competitive side a little more then we would have liked.

World of Warcraft is a long and drawn out story...
My first guild on there was the "Elite Muffin Crew" a casual group of friends who just wanted to have a easy way to chat. From there we all leveled together until it was time to try and form up raids... Which with a name like ours we discovered that we couldn't get a full 40 people it took for raids at the time.

So we then formed "Oblivion Awaits" as a way to have a cooler name, and to get people more willing to have our guild tag over their heads. The guild held together for a time but ultimately fell apart from drama that happened while I was on break for finals that semester.

I stayed guildless for a time, not having the free time to really try for it. From there I joined "Casual Crusaders." It was for this group of friends I did the unthinkable, I inflicted a copy of the game on to Faixella.

Faixella has written most of what followed. About 10 of us grouped together after we left the hardcore life, helping anyone who crossed paths with us. After the soical guild we were in gained new management and tried telling us that we needed to be split up because he wanted gear... We split off again to form a new casual guild "Pants are optional." Named for our habit of taking pants off characters when content wasn't challenging.

We decided to leave WoW to find a game that didn't reward a system that focused more on the numbers, and not the friends you make. A large social guild is just what we need.

How did you hear about the Guild?
My wife Faixella was looking up guilds on the server we choose on Guild Wars 2, and succeeded in her application here. With the amount of time we spend playing together, it seems silly to not have the same guild tag over our heads, so that we can earn points for a bigger group while we play together.

What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
My wife and I tend to be very helping in any community we join. Though my obligations outside of the home (finishing school and a job) tend to limit my availability more then my wife (who gets to set her own hours).

I have a entertaining sense of humor and a drive to play well, and play fun. But when things get difficult, I'm the one to incite determination in the group and encourage everyone for one more try... Like when the "safety dance" in Naxxramus on wow killed 7/10 of the group due to lag spikes early in the fight, 3 of use took on the last 80% of the boss. It took a half a hour but we managed it with sheer grit. And encouraged everyone else afterward.

Its NOT OVER TILL I'M A CORPSE!

Guild wars 2 addendum: not even then :)

Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
Yes

Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
Pardon my writing, english isn't my first language... C++ is! :)
