What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
I'm an absolute Casual/Social PvE Player. I tried to PvP, but I just suck at PvPing. I'm just too nervous and skittish.
Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
A looooong time ago I played Ragnarok Online for a bit - but not that intense. My next big MMO was World of Warcraft, which I played for about two years (startet just when Wrath of the Lich King hit the shelves). Recently I tried Tera and Aion, but was totally underwhelmed by these games. So for now I'm just waiting for Guild Wars 2 to be released.
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
I've been part of some guilds (in RO and WoW) but never really felt a connection to the members. And this, for me personally, is one of the most important reasons to join a guild. So I really like your take on the whole "guild-family" thing very much!
How did you hear about the Guild?
I stumbled across your podcasts on Youtube and found them quite amusing!
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
I consider myself chatty and helping.
Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
Yes it will be.
Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
Perhaps a little bit more about myself: I'm not from the United States - I'm from Germany. Isn't that already an eye-catcher? In my opinion it should be a must to have a german guy in one's guild. The reason? Easy! (Sorry for opening the stereotype-box) We germans are efficient and hard working people. AND - although popular believe states we aren't - we definitely know how to have fun (which is a big admission criteria for you guys!) I don't know whether the time difference will be a deal-breaker or not. That's up to you to decide. Another thing could be the language. I speak english, but I'm certainly not a native. But hey - my occasional mistakes and false pronunciations will be good for a laugh or two. I'm sure of that!
To finish the informations about myself: I'm a student living in Munich (Bavaria) - I study "Art and Multimedia" and will be finished next year. Last but not least I wanna kiss some ass and say: Trsitan - I love your online portfolio, especially your photographs are stunning!
