Sasquatauch
New member
Name
Sasquatauch (yes, I know how to spell sasquatch)
Age (must be 18+)
Knocking on 40's door
Where are you from? (timezone)
Oklahoma (CST)
Do you have any friends who are Members? If so, who?
N/A
Character Name(s)
Sasquatauch, Buck Humpy, Pack Johnson
What games do you wish to play with the alttabme community?
N/A
Class/Race(if applicable)
Main will likely be a Settler and will definitely be a Healer of some sort
What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
I like to do a bit of everything a game has to offer and Wildstar will be no exception. The Warplots really have piqued my interest as has Housing. I'm usually somewhere between casual and hardcore. Since I like PvP and PvE equally, how much time I spend on each one varies from game to game. It just depends on how fun each aspect is for me.
Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
Man, I think it'd be easier to list the ones I haven't played at this point. I've played nearly every major MMO since EQ, beta tested quite a few and have played them anywhere from a few weeks to several years.
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
Done everything from being a general member to the GM of a guild. Experiences vary from god awful to stellar. It really just boils down to the personalities of the membership/leadership and the effectiveness of the leadership.
How did you hear about the AltTabMe?
I've seen a couple of your podcasts and have run across of your members/leaders on forums. You seem like a good, interesting lot.
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
Not typically chatty unless someone asks me something directly. Most folks laugh when I do say something so I am apparently f'n hilarious (but that may also be because I R DUM so they're laughing at me, not with me *sadface*). I like to help when I can, but sometimes my game play is limited (life likes to butt in occasionally) so I need to make the most of it while I can.
As I get older, I find myself tending to gravitate towards finding a community of good gaming folks rather than the typical L337d00dz guild. Sure I'd like the guild to be competitive and beat other guilds into the wrong side of the dirt, but in the end if it wasn't fun doing it and I don't really care for the people I did it with, what's the point?
How much time do you spend a week on games?
Typically around 15 hours during the week and then another 10-20 on the weekends depending on what I have going on.
Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
Ex-military (Army Res.), shoot guns competitively (USPSA, SCSA), am a programmer by trade (.NET), currently playing Neverwinter Online open beta while waiting on WildStar.
Have you finished all of the prerequisite requirements?
Yes (I read and replied to the rules, I understand I must be active on the forums to stay on the roster, and I have a minimum of 1-2 posts(other than this application), and I made sure those posts weren't just bullshit)
