Been creeping around the site for a few weeks now and decided it's a lot easier to make an account and post on forums than it is to have one-sided conversations with my monitor (though it has compelling arguments at times such as when it turns on by itself when I try to sleep... only the most subtle of hints).

I'll most likely divulge details about myself as I get more comfortable within the community as a participant. I don't mean that in a negative way of course but I have "stranger danger" moments.

I recently quit WoW after playing since 2006. I was pve focused with some dabbling in pvp. I played 1-2yrs as a mage and did all of my remainder play as a Holy/Disc priest. All I did was heal and only leveled a paladin, shaman, druid and monk as an alt so I could do the other healing styles as well. My playing was comprised of 25man Heroic content.

At the moment I'm dabbling in FFXIV:ARR despite the fact the game was clearly not ready to launch! :p
To be honest, I had no real intention of ever playing this game until I saw Magitek Armor in a cutscene. Rolling a white mage!

I'm stoked for Wildstar. I will be rolling a healer! I'm leaning towards Esper (I can't get away from FFVI references. They lure me in the most!) but holding my final decision until I can actually get my hands on every healer to see what style I enjoy the most.

In other news, I'm new and terrible at DOTA2. I'm far better at spectating! :D

Welcome, come on in the water's fine! If you are into mobas at all check out our smite night coming up this week. Come play with us, its a good way to get to know us and all are welcome.

I played very little of LoL. I might pick it back up. The only real thing that offput me was:
((full time job) + (full time WoW))/(LoL requiring levels/rune pages/nonsense/riot points/whatever the other points are called) = offput cause the barrier of entry to being competitive didn't quite fit my schedule at the time.

'Tis the reason I picked up DoTA as it is just a "turn on and dive in" style of moba. Since WoW is out of the equation I might might might look at it just because there's more skillshots in it but I'm not making a promise there. :<
Smite... I've heard so much about it but have seen nothing of it. I'll have to peruse Twitch to know what I'd be getting into there.

Awesome, well, I don't play DotA or HoN, cause I was always really bad at the deny mechanic in the game, but if you pick LoL back up, or decide to give Smite a try, lemme know, we can play some. /nyan
 
Hop in for smite night, think it's tuesday? Dainjre sucks at all the games (/allthethings) so I don't recommend playing with him, at all, ever. PERIOD.

It actually sounds like a good idea to do so. I'll feel that much better about myself by comparison. :3
