What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
To be honest throughout my gaming career ive always been a PVE kinda person same as my partner. Funny enough ive actually met my current partner through a game called World of Warcraft! We both are very horrible at PvP but we do try to play it for the achievements well she does i just assist her! Even if we get slaughtered! Our main niche is PvE. We are very casual and social. Me however im always been very social, love to explore the game.
Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
My very first game i every played was Gunbound played it for about 6 months.
First time i jigged school in year 9, i was introduced to Counterstrike 1.6 and this was probably my first addiction played it for at least 3 years hardcore 2 years on and off. Reason being was i found out about WoW, and was also how i met my current girlfriend of 3 years! Funny enough we have NEVER told a real life soul that we met through a game! We played together for about 2 years but ive played solo before that for 3 years!
We moved on to free to play games like Eden Eternal and Grand Fantasia where i wasnt a bind to get addicted to! Its our one bad habit, unfortunately for us we broke that habit once we found out about GW2!
With my partner we only ever play MMOs!
But in my own time i tend stray!
Stray off into the arms of my beloved PS3, play a lot of sport games, basically all the NBA 2k Games, FIFA and GT 5, i love online competitions and ladders ive participate online comps for about 2 years.
Casual DOTA player aswell, tend to usually play 5v5 lan when friends are over but have been doing that for 6 years.
For Leana however, from what she has told me shes only every played Ragnarok Online and WoW with the casual MMOs that we tried together but got dull because it was just the 2 of us. It was pretty hard to find groups with free to play games, dunno if it justs me.
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
Only guild that ive been apart of for a very long time and committed was back in my World of Warcraft days. Originally from Jubei'thos was in one of the first guilds Genesis, we bascially cleared all the content up to TBC and then we disbanded! Reformed and made Very Serious which is where i met Leana! We were bother shadow priests and cleared up to Icecrown Citadel!
For me guilds was not always about raiding, personally for me i always tend to give more, and do more. The guild that i was originally in was mostly Americans in an oceanic server! We used to do what friends/ guilds do farm dungeons/chat/make fun of each other and just have a good laugh while staying up late knowing you have work / class the next day ><!!!!!
How did you hear about the Guild?
Came across it while listening to Guild Wars 2 Podcast, i was trying to grasp a better understanding of the game! For me im always the one teaching my GF how to play, she picks up the game slowly but thats where i come in and help her. Funny enough i came across your podcast and was just amazed. Amazing bunch, who just like to have fun and are very social!
Thought to myself thats the guild i want to be in! Kinda corny lol
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
What i bring is my willingness to help and just participate! With that hopefully i will be able to create some friends and enjoy the game together! Im a big tease though, i tend to tease which tends to make it seem like im flirting (as told by my GF) which probably how i got to meet her! lol TBH i just want to have fun and have a laugh. But also bring experience and a fast learning curve!
Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
Yes, i dont see myself or my girlfriend joining other guilds atm we dont know anyone, and this guild just from youtube and the way you guys present yourself its amazing.. Ive only every been in 1 guild and one REMAKE same as my girlfriend who was in a guild called Pantheon (Which also consisted of her friends real life) and one reformed guild!
Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
Would like too apologize for the 2 applications! Was hoping for a second chance, since when i did first apply i didnt make enough of an effort. I realized that and tried to! But as i finished my editing and hit save, i was declined and it said 3 minutes ago(burning)!
Anyways havent typed this much since ever! lol
