What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
PvE and WvWvW, will be how I spend most of my time. I consider myself more of a casual gamer and love to spend equal amount of time enjoying the game solo at my own pace as well as joining up with guildies and spending a couple hours in a dungeon.
Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
GW1 has been my game of choice. I started playing 6 months after release and have not spent much time any other games. I do occasionally play Team Fortress 2 and Dirt 2 for a little bit of a break from the RPG world.
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
Yes, I was part of the same guild for all but the last 1.5 years of GW1. It was a great experience and I still keep in touch with 4 of the member(one of which is my wife). I was guild leader for all most 2 years until the original GL stepped back up.
It did show me what to look for a in guild and what a great place a good guild can be. The last 2 years, burn out of the game lead to the guild pretty much being dissolved.
How did you hear about the Guild?
Just my surfs around youtube.com led me to the Tristans channel. Then I have been lurking on the forums the last couple of weeks and watching the podcasts to see if this a place to call home.
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
Chatty and Helpful, I enjoy going back through parts of the game which is easily done helping and meeting others. I also like hanging out on voice chat(looks like you guys use mumble) while just hanging out.
Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
Yeppers, Keeping up with multiple guild chats and voice chats sounds like crazyness.
Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
FedEx brought a dormant zombie to my house today, so that's cool.
