Hey, I'm ThatOneGuy or T1G (promounced Tig) I live in Arizona. I have lots of hobbies I have started then shelved. I work as an airline mechanic on jets for American Airlines.

Ask me anything.
 
Oh I am first. Let´s get the important question out of the way: How big is your ... assortment of planes you have done maintenance on?

What´s your favorite thing you´ve ever crafted IRL?
 
the largest I have worked on is an Airbus 330, that thing is big. Within the year though, American will have some Airbus 380 dreamliners in rotation. Not sure if they will be coming to Phoenix though.

I think the best thing I have crafted so far was my "tron" backpack. I've lost the pictures, but I installed some EL wire into it and made it light up like it was from the tron movie.

Oh, I also designed and made some papercraft stuff including this

A while ago, you had a secret project you were working on, and you wanted people to guess.

Did you ever finish it? What was it?
 
I did not finish it, but it was guessed correctly. It was the fishing gun that was teased from Wildstar when it was still being developed.

I may try to finish it, but the fiddly bits in the middle are vexing me.

Given the time and the resources, what would be the one thing you would absolutely love to fabricate from any game/movie/tv show? Why that item?

For the purposes of example, if I had the skill, I'd love to fabricate a to-size copy of the Master Sword as found in the Temple of Time in Ocarina of Time (Stuck into the altar - and be removable).

I was trying to be a smart ass. Like if people couldn't remember someones name in mumble and said "you know that one guy" I could be like no its not me.

Then I shortened it to T1G and had people pronounce it Tig cause the joke got old to me really fast. I did get to use it about 5 times so far though.

Man, I miss your T1G interesting things talks you did. Plan on picking that up again?
 
Is it hard to be a moderator of AltTabMe? What goes into it? Is it weird to be behind the scenes and a member? Tell us the hardest thing you ever had to do, tell us the most exiting thing, and the weirdest thing!
 
Is the airline industry really as fucked up as I believe it to be? I really feel like some of these planes should not be up in the air the way they are. They seem so old, unsafe, and patched together with duct tape.
