Well we're less then 2 months away JOY! I'd like to see if my old girl gonna be able to handle GW2 with everything on the highest setting.. Post your rig and if you have some tips please leave a comment for people looking to upgrade to get the best exp in GW2 like myself :(...

Here my old girl, she like my wife got a lot miles but has some use left in her....:p

Should run it fine. As for High no one knows. The game in beta was not optimized for shit. :(

That seems to be getting better obviously though. I am planning on a newer computer eventually for better streaming/recording purposes but this rig does just fine for now.

Intel i7 920 2.66gHz OC'ed to 3.15gHz
6GB of Corsair DDR3 RAM
650W Corsair Power Supply
ZALMAN 110mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler

As for peripherals, I use:
Razer Battlefield 3 Edition Imperator Mouse
Razer Black Widow Gaming Keyboard

Saitek X52 Pro Flight stick and throttle
 
I priced out a computer yesterday, came out to be $4000. If I upgrade my computer that I have now $2500. That putting in the best of the best pretty much.

Well i am actually planning on the same one Tr1age just got. Luckily I am working so much involuntary overtime at work that I should be ordering it sooner than I thought lol. I built this one I am using now, and the one before that. I would build again but I have no idea how to setup liquid cooling, and am completely unfamiliar with it.
 
I'm going to wait and see what this old thing can do before I drop a crop load of money on a new system.
 
Question and please don't take this in the wrong way... Have family and friends been saying it's a good thing your pretty a lot and when you were growing up?

Yeah it seemed it was mostly the CPU doing all the heavy lifting, and for a time there it seemed to run on only one core or so. Not sure if that was for every setup or whatever but this past stress test, their main concern is optimization and minor bug squashing because it looked better and ran a lot smoother.

I still have those, but the fact that you remember my jim-jams after 6 years is pretty amazing. And I am built like Alan Rickman, this is a true fact.
