A new computer for PsiFox!

I am looking for people to help PsiFox get a new computer. He is running on an old Toshiba laptop at the moment. I am asking the community of AltTabMe to assist in anyway to get him going on a new rig that will allow him to play wildstar.

If up have parts to donate or a few dollars post on here and we will get everything together.

PsiFox you should take a picture of that laptop you have been playing on and post it.

I will have a computer build put together for anyone that wants to know what he will allready have and what parts he will need.

I think a desktop will be easier for people to help with. Donating a part here and throwing some money at a part there.

If we manage enough for a comparable laptop then we will go that route. (Not expecting the later.)

Would it be cheaper to crowdsource parts and sent those individually to AUS than an entire rig?

That is the route we I want to head. I was just going to get a list so everyone would have an idea of price and parts comparability.

What about refurb/used?

I personally have had bad luck with refurb/used parts. And with the cost of shipping I'm not sure if I want to take that chance of it being a bad part.

I would love to give you my 4 gigs of Ram, but I broke them when I tried them out in my backup system (power supply not powerful enough). I would be willing to drop some cash though.
