If you could ask the Developers ANYTHING about Planetside 2 what would it be.
Please post your questions here...
They MIGHT be heard![]()
Not to get off topic, but the devs for PS2 are quite similar to ArenaNet in that they listen to their fanbase. They started making PS2 with a list of things to fix from PS1 since it is fundamentally the same game. They talk to their fans regularly, especially if you are part of their faction(Faction loyalty is ridiculous in this fanbase). I haven't used twitter in a while but I regularly tweeted back and forth with the Senior Art Director for PS2(He's Vanu of course!) quite a lot in the months before GW2 heated up.
What do you have to offer someone like me who has never played an FPS MMO or just hasn't played Planetside 1? In other words, is it easy for new players to integrate themselves? If so, how?
Wow if you think PS2 is difficult to get into Chez, I am glad you didnt play PS1. It was pretty unforgiving until you learned the ropes.
I've heard a bit about Planetside 2, and have a few friends who played the first one, but I really don't know much about either. It sounds like a fun game, but difficulty was something that I wanted to consider before picking it up as opposed to playing, say, Firefall, or something.
So it's bad, I take it? I was interested in it at first, but then I never heard anything about it and thus moved on.I had high hopes for Firefall. I was disappointed.
I wouldn't say "bad," just personal preference... I only played the beta, and while it was fun for a few hours, it didn't hook me in at all. Since it's FTP, I'll likely give it another shot for sure, but what I played just wasn't something I could see myself playing much of... especially since I'm currently drowning in games that I want to play, but have no time to play them all. >_<So it's bad, I take it? (sorry for derailment, back to the topic..)
