GW2 Bags or Bag Slots?

So you are strapped for cash and can't even FATHOM paying 2g or 10g for an 18 slot bag or 20 slot bag. Look below the Greater Rune is for 18 slot bags and the Superior is for a 20 slot bag. This is only 1 part of the recipe for the bag itself.

Too much for your blood???!?!?! Well FEAR NOT!!

You can convert gold to gems and get ANOTHER slot for a 15 slot bag which is the best bang for you buck at 50 silver and the price of the 400 gems.

So instead of paying a TON for 2-5 more slots you can get an entire bag opening to hold a 15 slot bag!

YOU SPILLED THE BEANS.

I gave all my gold to a friend for his Commander title on Jade Quarry, so I'm left broke, but...at least I have all my bag slots filled up. Time to get back to crafting. Need moar goldz.

The exchange rate fluctuates. You can view current conversion rates in the "market" window (default "o" key), the tab with the intertwined arrows or something like that. It's really not worth it at the moment, imo.

That's good to know since I don't have a good frame of reference on the exchange. What's a good rate to look for?
 
The price of gems has been going up consistently lately. Last I checked, it was about 50s for 100 gems. Ahh I remember the days when 37s got me 100 gems, but inflation is the way of things. (Yes, I know that in the picture gems were even cheaper than that, but I didn't have the silver to buy them then :p)
