Base building Tip

We should build a ground plot first then put a wooden plot inside. This way the stairs are on the inside of metal walls. We saw someone do this and you can then have your harvest and crops inside the base. Quite a great idea.

It also looks really cool in terms of levels and being able to shoot out and defend.

Would it work to ground tamper 4 spots in a square then we can make a big wide one with multiple platforms and shelters.

I'm pretty sure we can do that now, we just have to have enough metal to build walls all around our base as is.

Not sure about that second story of walls though. That's pretty cool.

I have a new idea for a base. There is a cave/tunnel behind the church and beside the graveyard with all the loot spawns S/E of Pleasant Valley. I say we make a metal gate and then make a wall of furnaces. They can't be destroyed and the looters would have to break down the gate to get in. We could also line the area with punji sticks and/or land mines. It only takes 9 scrap metal to make a legit furnace and there is tons of metal and crowbars in the world now. One fully intact crowbar gets about 20 scrap from a car.

I've seen people attempt to fortify that before but it gets a lot of action. If there is a way in they will find it.

We should just wall it up and watch people struggle. Put a gate in front of the wall like they could get in.
