Lycati here, with a quick little tutorial to make sure you, future Wildstar players, start in the area you want for the main portion of the "tutorial" section of the game (1-15). More importantly, it'll also help make sure you end up in the same area as your friends when they've decided where to go.
So there are 2 areas, basically. One is the default for the Humans and Granoks, while the other is home to the Aurin and Mordesh. What? You want to play with your friends and together you make Rock, Paper, Furry? Have no fear! I've made a video, albeit long, that shows at what point you can choose your adventure.

- Pick Up Quest
- Turn quest in to NPC (not console)
- Choose your adventure: Left (Ferngully!), Right (Pirates!)
- Click the consoles in the loading bays corresponding with choices.
