Haverstead
The Kingdom of Conflict, the Den of Despair, the battleground of bandits. Haverstead is called
many things. "Great" is never one of them. Haverstead's history is not filled with meetings with ancient
gods, dealings with dragons, or even so much as a great war. It is instead filled with military coups, political
assassinations, and treachery. This is, in part, due to the strange nature of Haverstead's political system. It
would be more accurate to refer to the Kingdom of Haverstead, as the United Strongholds of Haverstead.
Comprised of 10 mighty Strongholds, the kingdom of Haverstead is in a constant state of change. The High
King's Council, a council formed by the 10 heads of state within the country, chooses its High King once
every 35 years. The current ruler, High King Taskerville, has been the most succesful high king yet, gaining
access to the Jorvariate, a council that resides over all matters of interest within the realm of Naeth. It
consists of King Tavros the third of Telera, King Demevor the Seventh of Desparwood, Queen Jewlevra of
Morvaria, and of course, King Taskerville of Haverstead. The council also includes Prince Feller of Telera,
head of the Inquisition, Prince Kenlin of Telera, head of the Immortals, High Priest Jorvaskr, and finally,
Lord Vaskr-Hedgemony, head of the Smithing and Trade Triumvirate. These men rule over all matters of
importance within the realm of Naeth, and their decisions have wide-reaching consequences.
The Ravenor
Things are about to change in Haverstead. Under a veil of secrecy, and in the shadows of the
mountains, High King Taskerville has built a Masterpeice: The Ravenor. Built and run by Captain Gorlund
Rammsfield, a mysterious dwarven engineer, The Ravenor is a sight to behold. Propelled by mighty
turbines, the Ravenor is a flying warmachine, a moving base. It is the first of its kind to challenge the mighty dragons.
The Ravenor is King Taskerville's second attempt at mastering the skies. His first air ship, the Voltaga, was
brutally torn from the skies by dragons, lying in wait in the mountains surrounding the coasts.
The Ravenor represents Haverstead's biggest political play since the joining of the Jorvariate. With
complete air superiority, Haverstead will become the leading military power on the continent. No one truly
knows how the other nations will respond, or how the dragons will handle being threatened on their home turf.
