There are some good interactions to come out of it. There is a sub reddit for a group of people that have a travelling trade post. Each week it sets up in a different location and usually has an extra outside clan running neutral security.
You'd be amazed at how many people get involved. They come to trade, get some food and drink by a campfire, and exchange stories. It's pretty cool.
