Strikethrough Softcaps*
Raid Bosses have 12% deflect, while Veteran Adventure / Dungeon bosses sport 9% deflect.
This means that you will need to either reduce the enemy’s deflect chance down to 0%, boost your own strikethrough chance to match these values, or some combination of the two. In group play, it is generally best left to 1-3 key players to handle this so that the majority of a party/raid’s damage dealers can focus on maximizing their Assault Power and crit. In particular, here are some of the more common approaches to meeting the Strikethrough cap:

- Spellslinger – Tier 8 Dual Fire will increase up to 5 players’ Strikethrough chance by 3.6% and can be maintained with 100% uptime.
- Stalker – Tier 8 Razor Disk reduces the deflect chance of affected targets by 5% for all players targeting the affected enemies.
- Warrior – The Overwhelming Presence AMP in tier 3 of the Hybrid A/S tree reduces the deflect chance of nearby enemies by 6% for all players targeting affected enemies.
