FTL/Faster Than Light - Space Travel Roguelike Game

2.5 hour lets play of a guy who knows how to play pretty well. He has about ~30 episodes of the game if you are really interested. Spoiler alert.



Game launches Sept 14 on GOG.com and Steam. I'm not sure what the price will be, I think 20 or 30.

Roguelike games perplex me. I recall back in the Nintendo (one) days putting many hours into very hard games, but even though I have a long attention span in other parts of my life, I find it hard to put that kind of time into games anymore that don't have big pay offs.

You know a space game I really loved recently is: SPAZ (http://spacepiratesandzombies.com/). I played a ton of that game - very fast action, great sense of progression involved. It really let you set your own pace of progression too. It's not anything like FTL though.
