Not a link but I thought of something I did in Planetside that may help with the in game voice.

Turn your you listen volume back down to somewhere around 50 or w/e the default is.
Turn all the volume options down to what you currently have your master volume set to.
Turn master volume back up to 100.

This made the in game voip both loud and clear without getting the weird distortion from turning up the listening volume.
