This is my new PC I plan on building. The parts change every so often because I haven't bought anything yet and I change my mind frequently. My current PC has been doing well for me for 5+ years, but it's time to update and prepare myself for the future of PC gaming.

EDIT: New link! I removed some things I really don't need at this time to drop the price some. I plan on reusing the same case, PSU, and HDDs for the time being. I'll eventually update those pieces, but they aren't needed to get this build off the ground. I also upgraded to a 770 4GB.
 
Looks nice man, and damn that is a sweet website, I'll have to remember it for the next time I build a new rig haha. I'm jelly of the video card!

That site is so helpful. Makes comparing products a simple task and easy to save items from multiple sources.

Figured I had to go big on the video card.
 
Just a heads up I heard they are soon rebranding the 680's into 770's, upping the clocks, and dropping the price.
 
I would really wait for the 770 or grab a 690. If you can. The 780 is a flop.

I read reviews on the 770 and they were positive. Are they even out yet?

I figured the 680 at 4gb would last me a good long while, but if the 770 is comparable in price and still solid I may make the change. the 690s are just out of my price range and I may SLI two cards eventually.
 
Changes made to the original post. Dropped the price to around $1000. Trying to make this doable on my budget with what I already have vs what I really want.
