I've been waiting on the Haswell launch for quite some time now. My plan was to get a GTX 780, i7 4770k and a new motherboard to plug it all into. Unfortunately, it looks like Intel didn't quite deliver on the performance upgrade I was looking for. The CPU's released yesterday and the motherboard for them released today. Honestly, it looks like I'll be sticking with my 2500k or maybe grabbing a 2600k for the hyperthreading, since they'll be really cheap and won't require a new motherboard. I'll take the $750 I was going to spend on a Haswell CPU and mobo and get a second GTX 780.
Anyways, I'm not just rambling at random here. I did create this thread to share a bit of information with you.

If you scroll down to the gaming section, you'll see that there is hardly any difference between the last 3 generations of CPU's, for gaming performance.
What are your thoughts on all of this?
