What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
I've historically gravitated towards a PvE focus in this genre of games, but I think that's in part due to the more social nature of PvE raiding in MMOs like WoW. I haven't experienced PvP in GW2 yet, but am certainly down to explore that path, too. The social component goes without saying, and rides parallel to -- and in my experience, often transcends and long outlives -- any particular gameplay focus. Loving the people you play with is a fundamental part of loving to play, and is what has always drawn me back to MMOs.

Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
Oy, I've played a lot of games. Most notably, I started playing WoW back in high school. At first, did a lot of solo PvP, then entered the hardcore raiding scene during my freshman year of college.

Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
You bet! Every WoW guild I was a member of was an iteration or evolution of the very first raiding guild I joined (I was extremely lucky to have fallen in with an incredible group of people, many of whom I'm still close with, in spite of our WoW days being well behind nearly all of us now). After a couple months of raiding, I became a class lead, and guild officer shortly thereafter. I continued as an officer up until my last seven months or so of raiding, during which I was guild leader.

How did you hear about the Guild?
Triage / Zakis

What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
All of the above, with the addition of dedication, blunt honesty, zero-drama, and a healthy amount of banter. <3

Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
Yes

Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
I'm really stoked by this guild's mission statement to embody the best of what I consider to be the hardcore guild experience (e.g., strong sense of community, cooperation, and passion), while stripping out the drama and stress that have traditionally gone along with it. Because you know what? Games should be freakin' fun.
