With last night's update, we noticed a few new items in the database:
It's not yet known whether they'll be purchasable through the Gem Store or be offered via other means such as mystic chests or the mystic forge. What do you think?

This is the type of thing I look for when saying pay attention to the gw2 news for items to make gold on. I am going to buy up a bunch of black lion chests right now since people will think they are going to contain those items. I noticed something during the podcast and should have said something. I just couldn't see it well on the screen.

Prices will spike on those quick I'm guessing then drop again in a day or 2. Then if it comes out that they are form the chests prices will spike again.

In any case if those items are re-sellable then they will make bank on the TP especially the hair changer thing.
 
Oh jebus. They're gonna make a killing on those cosmetic kits in the gem store.
 
If I'm not wrong, the Permanent Trading Post Pickup is already rare random drop from BL Chests. Also I'm really happy that they included the Total Makeover Kit from GW1. People can now finally change the appearance of their characters without having to create a new one and restart from level 1 just because 30 levels later they discovered their nose was too big. I hope they added more hair options in the game.
 
Does this open up the possibility of in game events like "Tyria's Top Model" and "Design Stars of LA"?

Yes, I think it does.
 
I can't wait for the self style hair kit... It is so hard making different colored outfits with blue bows T^T It's been a bother for me since the beginning. I looooooove change.

I'm the complete opposite, my Asura is the smallest you can make it xD I have no idea what it's like to have your problem but I can only imagine those things are so huge!

Yeah, basically any tunnel becomes ridiculous. I love the size of my character roleplay wise, but it's just not super practical. Would be fine if we get a first person view though
 
Thank you Thank you for this post! After reading this i decided to spend some money on Black Lion Chests... I wish I had bought more than the 1500 I got. I spent 3-4 copper each for all these chests and I just looked a minute ago and they were 38 copper each! I've never invested in anything in a game and come out on top, so I'm pretty excited. Regretting not buying more is way better than regretting to buy any at all, so I'm happy!

Please post more of these if you find them, knowing what's coming before the masses do is quite profitable!
