GW2 Possible confirmation of Asura and Sylvari playable!

This could be a possible confirmation that Asura and Sylvari will be in BWE3. You guys could possibly mention this in your podcast...since we are advertised on GW2Guru...could get us a great deal of publicity since i haven't seen anyone talking about this yet.

We do not get to see the original question the person asked, but it looks like a legit response. I'm thinking it was along the lines of, "Will asura and sylvari be in BWE3? Also, will I only have 5 character slots at launch?"

I am sending in my own question to support now to see how it gets answered...will update you.
 
Intriguing, but I'm skeptical. That can EASILY be doctored. Unless it is a public post from AN itself, I don't trust it. That could very well be an email from AN, but could also be an uninformed person.

this is very true...that's why i would point out heavily, that this does not 100% confirm it, just adds to the speculation that Asura and Sylvari *might* be playable in BWE3.....if you talk about it in the podcast as a sidenote since the podcast is going to be about WvW

i just submitted my question...so now its just a waiting game to see if they will give me the same answer....if i do, then you guys will have Breaking News!
 
Why would a CSR tell someone this via email? Is their PR team in the loop? Of course tho, I wouldn't be surprised if they were included in bwe3. I mean... it is the last beta before launch.
 
That email is such bullshit. The wording is that of a 12 year old boy.

However, I still think they will include them in the beta for press purposes.

This^. I don't think they will be in the beta, unless Arena Net goes back on their idea that saving them for launch. Ill tell you right now though, I wont go any farther than taking slider screenshots in character creator for sylvari. I am not ruining anything for launch.
 
I think that they SHOULD be in the beta just so everyone doesn't zerg their start areas on release. That said that email looks suspicious, and I can't imagine that they would let their CS department make such a big announcement without announcing it officially.

The Development Team has not announced whether the Sylvari or Asura will be available in Beta Weekend 3.

However, I would be keeping an eye on the Guild Wars 2 web site, forums, and social media sites in the coming weeks.

maybe im just too hopeful asura will be in *sigh* :p
 
Well those two starting areas are going to be packed on the next BWE, I bet next to no one will want to play charr, human or norn with these two new races finally released. I think I will most definitely try out the little asura peoples.

packed areas are good. you can progress through events quicker, have more people helping, and can see where to go easier because of large groups working together.

I love how in gw2 you want to be around more people instead of the opposite like in other games.

I wasn't saying it was altogether a bad thing :) I know with my old computer during the first BWE, I had a terrible time trying to do anything in an area with a lot of people, but when I rebuilt it and played in the second BWE, I had none of the issues I had during the first BWE. So it's mainly a comment along the lines of 'if you have an old system, you're going to have issues with all those people there'.
 
It seemed that they fixed some of the computer load issues in bwe2 also. Things that would lag me out in bwe1 didn't do so in 2. hopefully it stays good for 3 and release.
