I was wondering if there was other people interested in joining/making an Arcanix steam group. Of course guild wars isn't on steam, but I've found it useful for communication anyways. It seems a number of us play other games and have it. Having a steam group would make it easier to see who's playing what when. We could make calender events that would remind anyone who has steam open when important guild events are (a popup that says there is a guild meeting in 15 minutes for example). If you have played a 5 man group and someone isn't there who happens to be in the steam group and online you could remind him he's forgetting something. It's not as demanding to be actively engaged as mumble and isn't as passive as the forums; I'd like to have one.
I personally and almost always on steam when I'm at home and able to play. I'd love it if even though I didn't have the game open or was not sitting in a empty mumble channel if someone hit me up on steam to say hey we have a group going for such and such dungeon are you in or being able to see if someone was playing something random like Tribes, Portal 2, or magicka. That I could poke them, get them on mumble, and play with them.
