There is and it was rumored to be some of the most contaminated areas. No idea on details though.

I figured those of us familiar with the city would appreciate this.

Heh, this is way more accurate than say, FO4 to Boston. FO4 was more like "here's landmarks and town names in a general vicinity with little to no value other than Fenway park"....

Which I'll be real, is fucking awesome.

Well keep in mind Fallout is also an alternate timeline sort of thing too, so technically they can get away with that.
