GW2 Why was I removed from the guild?

I was removed from the guild today. Why? I've been a member since before launch. I know I haven't been as active as I would have liked, due to a bigger course load this semester. But I wasn't even given a heads up, or a warning. I just recently got enough time to really play the game as much I wanted. Hell, I played for 20 hours yesterday to start catching up.

we had a large number of inactive members in the guild, so we posted a "Roll Call" thread about this in the guild members' forum:

Unfortunately the Guild Wars 2 game doesn't allow us to see activity. So we must do this to make sure we can clean up the guild of inactive members.

So PLEASE post your in game name in here. You have one week from when this was posted to post otherwise you will be removed from the private members section of the site and the guild.

(We are going to have ranks based on play time. We want people to know who is who and who they can expect to group with. It will also help with expansion when recruiting.)

We removed everyone who
a) didn't respond to Tristan's PM in time (which was a "heads up") and
b) didn't post their information on the "Roll Call" thread.
You fell into both categories, which is why you were removed - this was nothing personal, just a formality!

1. The Guild Message of the day told everyone they HAD to post in the "Roll Call", The message remained up for 1 week.
2. We then made a spread sheet of account names and forum names from the "Roll Call" labeling who was active and inactive.
3. As an additional layer to make sure no one active was removed, we private messaged people we hadn't seen in awhile to tell them about the new activity requirements with the forums, mumble, and the game.

You missed all three of those requirements.

Feel free to re-apply after reading and agreeing to all the new guild-lines for recruits.
