GW2 WvWvW Day!

Arcanix will be hosting WvWvW DAY this coming Sunday Sep 16th.​
​
This event will kick off at 3PM Eastern and go until we drop but will "officially" end at 9PM EST.​
​
6 HOURS OF UNINTERUPTED WvWvW DOMINATION!​
​
Now please please please go over some resources to learn about WvWvW before this event. We want to show some pride as ARX rolls through the zones and not look like complete hacks :) Also go try it out if you haven't.​
​

Other than that, bring your game faces, your weapons, and a patient (due to queuing) attitude and it should be a great day!​

BTW SEND MONEY TO TRIAGE TO BUY THE TOMB. We have 5 gold out of the 100 gold raised so far. We are a long way off.​

UPDATES:​

I want to lay down some ground rules for this event so everyone has the maximum fun.​
​
There are a few terms in PVP that we often use for one reason or another because we are "owning".​
​
Those terms are ​
​
  • Rap e
  • Fag
  • Gay
​
Please try not to use these words. There are other much better expletives to use when you drive someones face into the ground.​
​
As well:​
​
  1. Stick with the group and don't spam mumble with random chatter.
  2. If you do not know how certain things work, please ask someone in chat rather than mumble. This is not a place to learn WvW it is a place for us to organize and take territory for Yak's Bend.
  3. Do not release when you die unless you are POSITIVE we cannot get you back up.
  4. Bring Siege weapons! They are useful
  5. Always have 10 supply on you!
We are hoping to use the money we make during this fun event to help fund the commander book as well, so if you can check how much money you have prior to beginning and send the difference to the guild afterwards we may be able to make some good headway with the donations we have been getting thus far.

All in all, this should be a lot of fun, and currently we have a good hold on the other servers. We also made sure to upgrade a ton of bonuses for WvW so if we do take some keeps and claim them, we will get great bonuses for us and the server!​

WvW day was a HUGE success!​

I will put up highlights later in the week.​

But we took the entirety of Darkhaven!!!!!​

Remember if you haven't already, it would be great if you could send the money earned to Triage to help get the commander book. We are 20g closer.​

Once again great teamwork! We kicked some serious butt!​

i actually asked off for a different reason this saturday, but most of that will get handled in the morning~ As long as my baby isnt being born ill be here

It is not Saturday it is Sunday.
 
What world are we planning on doing? Eternal? Yak's Border? One of the other two? We should decide this beforehand therefor some people can get in extra early and solidify some spots, this way it's not all of us just waiting for queue's for an hour or two.

Edit : Also worth noting that the servers have been relaunching daily at 7PM EST. Something to stay aware of.

On a side note about the Commander book, once you are a commander, your location on the map can be seen by anyone in that battleground. I saw one guy the other night who had already bought the book, and an icon points the commander out at all times. I'm not sure if this is only viewable to the server that has the commander, or if all servers can see the location of that player.

We will announce this an hour prior to the event starting. Want to see the current state of the worlds first.

This picture is a nice, and probably accidental, illusionary image. I feel like the numbers are jumping out at me as I mouse scroll down the page.
