I am considering going close to that system build as well. Not quite as over the top. Cutting graphics down to a 680, but considering a 690. SSD will only be a 128GB Vertex 4 I just bought. Not going to water cool it. Also already own HDs for storage don't need to buy new ones.

Also, Zakis do you have an Xsplit license? If so, did you pre-purchase during beta?

I do not as I just recently downloaded the free version. I had never really dabbled in streaming until now. I plan to purchase a license though, to make things easier, be able to use all the features. Eventually Ill probably end up setting up my screen similar to Tristan's layout, but for now I am starting simple.

If you stream and make money or can make money you will need the Premium License of Xsplit.

Let me tell you something though, XSPLIT is a MONSTER. I am still having a moment of questioning myself for choosing IVY BRIDGE 3770 over the 6 core 3930. I think Xsplit could have used those extra cores better. HOWEVER, in the long run if my computer can't handle a stream with THOSE SPECS, then one needs to think of having another PC dedicated to the stream and one dedicated to the game.

So we shall see when it is built and I can readily tweak Guild Wars 2 and of course BF3 for benchmarks.

FMLE is a little bit more conservative in CPU usage, but not as easily accessible to stream with. AKA user interface specs and setup are a bitch.

Yeah Id like to see how you fare with the new rig first too before I order something.

You should be completely fine. I know that some of the League of Legends players stream at HD qualities with lesser specs that what you are buying.

I purchased a Premium license during beta which was $60 for 2 years I think. Would like to stream if I build a new computer. My current computer just can't handle it though.

I know I "should" be fine haha but there is always doubt. Plus when you think of the extra 2 cores... but then you think of the 600$ premium added to the final cost... yeahhhhh

Its a beast Trist, you should be fine. As long as you cut down on downloading all that porn. The only other limiting factor is up speed. I would like more of it honestly. FiOs needs to come to my area faster.

8 up is MORE than enough for what I need.

After a bit o research I found Comcast offers a plan that will bump my up speed from 4 to 6 for minimal price difference. I dont get a true 4 though I clocked it at 3.48
