SimCity 5, Videos, Release Date, Pre-Order Discount!

I'm going to beg and plead and make my wife breakfast to get in on this (yes, I'm whipped, but the perks are worth it!).
 
I am gonna be an urban planner!!!!! I LOVE SimCity for this reason! I wish it were that easy in real life, though....
 
I'm definitely looking into this game, not 100% sure I'm gonna get it yet though. I'm hoping they release more videos of details before the pre-order deadline for bonuses. At the moment it looks good, but it seems ever so slightly overly simplistic. I'm concerned the micromanaging we all know and love in Sim games will be lacking.

AMEN!

This is what I like about this game. They have put emphasis on economy and micromanagement of buildings and creating instead of the old sim city games where I wanted to tear my hair out and kill sims instead of build an empire. Plus the art style mmmm.

Well, if you're on Prospect, of course you can just slap a police station on the corner and watch crime disappear....let's see how that turns out for them.

I was once threatened on the street in that neighborhood because they figured I had no good reason to be there. They were right- I was selling life insurance.
 
As awesome as it looks, I think I am going to be declining. I will not be able to put time into this as much as I would want for a $45+ purchase. With the GW2 massive February patch hitting most likely one week before this, my time will be dedicated to that. /bowing out from this conversation topic
