It's less FPS and more, giant mech simulator.

You can have giant lasers but be careful not to overheat. If giant lasers aren't enough for you, you can even get a Particle Projectile Cannon.
I thought about playing it since I loved some previous Mech games (Commander 2, Warrior 3&4) but for some reason I just can't be bothered to get into it.
I even got into closed beta a while back...
