ALTTABME City - Membership List and Theorycraft

hey all, remember that there are multiple servers so we should all jump into the same one otherwise we wont be able to find eachother. Im on North America West 1 right now but switching is easy if we need to. Also remember that in order for people to be able to invite you to a region, you will need to have logged into the server at least once. (dont ask me why, i didnt build that part)
 
I hope Tr1age will be streaming throughout the day... those of us at work and unable to play want to live vicariously through you other players! Go forth and build me a kingdom! Go go go!

Scott we usually tend to play on the East Coast servers for the majority of our members. So will update as soon as we know the server.
 
So the ALTTABME City will officially open the doors once I have downloaded the client and picked our server. I will keep this post updated and will also be in the mumble. So post here when you think you will be on and remember to have me added to Origin tr1ageNYC so we can get ya in and building!

Apparently downloads start at 9PM PST 12AM EST.

This first City Rules: First come first serve just build what you want to get used to the game.

Soooo exciting! This first city is first come first serve in terms of location and what you want to build so HAVE FUN!

As per our poll in prior posts we will have random disaster turned on.

My computer is about 10 years old, so I don't think I fit the specs we want for streaming. Otherwise, I'd be all upons.
 
I don't know that I'm ready, but I'll be playing. It's been too long since I played a Sim City game. It's definitely one of my favorite series of all time. I think I'll probably choose single-player for my first go. Still, I'm excited to see how multi-play works out for this one.

This is Disaster Alttabme City! Where we all fuck up cause we have no idea what we are doing!
 
haha Aw, you guys have beta practice. :D Alright! I'll stop being a puss. Just put in whatever region has room. I'm good with joining the 2nd with other slackers if we have overflow.
 
So pumped! Think i'm going to mine/drill like crazy to get some income, then demolish it all, build parks, clean up the city, and go for education & high tech. Who wants to volunteer to adopt my sewage??!

ha I was thinking of going heavy industrial too just for shits and giggles actually. Mine my city dry! But ultimately I wanna make a techy place.
 
I'm torn, because i want to go high tech, but i dont want to do the same thing for both the "test" region and the official one. I may just become a services hub and get sewage treatment, power, police, etc.. for the "test" and go high tech for the next round. support classes FTW!

seems like testing out how all the services balance would be a good learning point as well. I didnt get any beta time, so i'm running off of the 35 hours or so of live-streaming i've seen

REGION! ITS A REGION NOT A CITY! FFS. If you insist on calling it a City lets at least call it City 17. Whoever gets the reference gets a cookie, but you have to come to NY to get it.
