That's interesting about the exp of paths. It would logically follow that you level the path as well. That could make for some interesting combinations when paired with different professions. Or maybe gear bonuses? I'd settle for pets. It's called 'crossing paths'. By helping out/participating in the content available to others Paths (probably by people you group with), you will gain Path XP.
Path XP is (currently) a separate pool of XP, not linked to your level xp.
There is path leveling and a skill tree that you can specialize in your path. So says Gyoin.
It really sounds to me like the settler is the most meaty of the paths, settler and explorer seem kinda sparse, and soldier does one thing and one thing well.
Still think explorer matches me best and I think the path system will prove to be one of the most beloved things that people do in this game.
Or the air strip on top of ironforge that you could get to by wall jumping if you were good enough.I totally agree. I love exploring. I have lost a lot of my screenshots from WoW but I still have a few of places that were not intended to be seen by players...I think. Like that little empty Tauren settlement at the very southwestern tip of Kalimdor.
Sounds like scientist for you. From what I remember you were big into the guild wars lore. Scientist is the lore path.
